Best Friends is dedicated to helping the animals in our community. Therefore, it is difficult for us to announce that until further notice, we are unable to take owner-surrendered dogs.
Why This Decision Is Necessary:
Because of a lack of foster homes, we have exhausted all resources for accepting surrendered dogs and must put our resources toward saving unclaimed impounds that would otherwise be euthanized.
Simply put, we have no foster spaces and no pay-for-boarding spaces available for owner-surrender dogs. We are always recruiting fosters, so please fill out an application on the “Get Involved” page if you can help.
