Become A Foster

We are ALWAYS looking for fosters to temporarily home animals that come into our care.

Best Friends of Baker has no physical shelter. Instead, we rely on the generosity of volunteers willing to bring a dog, cat, puppy or kitten into their homes and provide temporary shelter, care, nurturing and love.

Animals that come to us have often experienced an abrupt or harsh transition. They need a safe haven and the gentleness of a kind person to help rebuild their confidence and re-establish trust with people. Fostering allows you to enjoy the love of animal companionship without having to make a 12+ year commitment. Best Friends of Baker is always looking for reliable fosters. Please consider becoming a foster for us.

Once you complete a Foster Application Form (below) a knowledgeable volunteer will contact you, share the details of what it means to foster, and answer all of your questions.
